Wychwood Wild Garden is a beautiful woodland and garden, close to the centre
of Shipton-under-Wychwood in Oxfordshire.

Its 12.5 acres of avenues, woods and ponds much of which was laid out in the 1860's, is home to wild life and many breeds of ducks and birds. It is owned and managed by the local community and offered as a place of peace and tranquillity to local residents, guests and visitors to the area.

Round Pond Restoration
The work on the Round Pond is now substantially completed, just some clearing around the edges to do. The path leading down to the Upper pond from the Avenue has also been renovated and should now stand any downpours we get in the autumn. Thanks to all the volunteers who have made this possible, our special donors who provided the much needed funds and to AES Europe who did the hard work.

New Leaflet Available
A leaflet introducing the Wild Garden to visitors is now available. If you run a local B&B and would like to help us publicise the Wild Garden, please get in touch and we will deliver leaflets to you.
